Great to meet you!

Albert Einstein once said, “If I had an hour to solve a problem, I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.” I believe this truth also is very much applicable in the realm of human psychology.

Professionally I tend to gravitate towards clients that possesses many of the outward facing characteristics of success, only to somehow feel as though something is off or missing – like they are possessing a problem that increasingly feels unsolvable.

My approach to therapy

In clinical speak, the above often translates into some form of Life Transition Issue, Career Change/Dissatisfaction, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Relationship Struggles, Problems with intimacy or “opening up” to others, Struggles with Shame or Self Esteem, and/or a tendency to “stuff” uncomfortable emotions, although the above symptoms can translate in other clinical diagnoses as well.

What you can expect from me

I’ve grown enough in my own awareness to know that I really enjoy working with clients that feel stuck, burnt out, confused, and looking for solutions to a problem that doesn’t yet make total sense.

Through emphasis on creating an environment in which one can “exhale” - rooted in dialogue, occasional humor, collaboration, reflection, and education – I hope to communicate in a way that helps my clients know that their struggle is comprehensible, understandable, reasonable, and solvable.
