Great to meet you!

I’m Chasity Bowers, a Licensed Professional Counselor and EMDR-trained mind–body clinician. I integrate faith and therapy to support holistic healing, helping clients address both emotional and physical responses to stress and trauma. My approach goes beyond talk therapy by incorporating trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation strategies to promote lasting change.

As a wife and mom of a blended family, I understand the real-life challenges that can come with relationships, parenting, communication, and navigating family dynamics. I work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I provide a structured, supportive space where clients can process difficult experiences, build emotional regulation skills, and reconnect with clarity, stability, and confidence.

I offer faith-integrated care for clients who desire it, while maintaining an inclusive, culturally responsive environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

I honor each client’s faith in healing, offering inner heart work, holistic self-awareness, and hope for transformation through truth. My approach is warm, affirming, and empowering. I strive to create a space where you feel safe to be vulnerable, seen, and heard. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, somatic therapy, and emotion-focused techniques to support deep healing and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where you feel safe and supported. We will start by getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. This initial conversation helps me understand your unique needs and goals. We’ll spend some time introducing ourselves and building a comfortable rapport. I want you to feel at ease and know that this is a judgment-free space. I’ll ask about your personal history, current challenges, and any previous experiences with therapy. This helps me gain a comprehensive understanding of your situation. Together, we’ll discuss your goals for therapy. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or trauma, we’ll identify what you hope to achieve through our work together. I’ll explain my therapeutic approach, including how I integrate faith and therapy, and the techniques I use, such as EMDR, Mindfulness, and Somatic Therapy. This helps you understand what to expect in future sessions. Feel free to ask any questions or express any concerns you might have. I’m here to ensure you feel comfortable and informed about the process. We’ll outline a preliminary plan for your therapy, including the frequency of sessions and any initial steps we can take to start addressing your concerns.

By the end of the first session, my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead. I’m committed to supporting you through your journey towards healing and growth.
