Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Chatia, a licensed therapist who works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity-related concerns. I have a particular passion for supporting clients healing from past trauma, including relational and developmental trauma, and those seeking greater self-confidence, emotional regulation, and healthier relationships. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe being honest and vulnerable at their own pace. Reaching out for support can feel intimidating, and I’m glad you’re here.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each individual. I focus on helping clients build insight into patterns shaped by past experiences while also developing practical tools for emotional regulation, communication, and coping with anxiety or overwhelm. I work at a pace that feels safe and manageable, integrating structure when helpful and flexibility when needed. My goal is to create a space where clients feel respected, empowered, and actively involved in their healing process.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brought you to therapy. You’ll have space to share your story, ask questions, and talk about what you hope to work on, without pressure to go into anything before you’re ready. We’ll also discuss how therapy can be structured in a way that feels supportive for you and begin identifying goals for our work together. My priority is helping you feel comfortable, heard, and grounded as we begin.
