Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Chauncey.

I'm a neurodivergent millennial who loves working with other neurodivergent millennials and Gen z'ers, particularly those that are ADHD, AuDHD, and Autistic. I tend to work with creative types, that feel unfocused, burned out, and generally just struggling to manage symptoms of neurodivergence and depression or anxiety.

I’m a mom of one and a serial hobbyist. I tend to be energetic in session and enjoy some playful joking around with my clients.

I’ve been in private practice for five years and went in into solo practice in 2023. Since then, I’ve genuinely loved every day, getting to help people find clarity, gain perspective, and discover what actually matters to them.

My approach to therapy

I love my job because I get to witness people’s lives evolve in such incredible ways. I like to think of myself as your life cheerleader, supporting you as you work toward the goals you set at the beginning of our work. My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on helping you build psychological flexibility, stay present with your experiences, and take meaningful action toward what truly matters to you. A lot of times, that means working through the attachment we have to how everybody else does it or the desire to be normal.

Together, we explore your values, identify obstacles, and develop practical strategies so you can live a fuller, more purposeful life. Since many neurodivergent people have experienced significant trauma, I have added modalities to my skill set to help heal from these experiences, such as EMDR and brainspotting.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect each session to be a supportive, creative space where you are heard and understood. You will leave sessions with a renewed sense of direction and energy, feeling more equipped to handle challenges in your daily life. My goal is to help you reach a place where therapy is no longer necessary. Once we meet your treatment goals, we collaboratively decide whether to continue exploring other areas where you might need a tune up or conclude treatment, ensuring you feel confident in your progress and next steps.
