Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with many years experience. I earned my Masters in Counseling Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapy in 2007. I am open-minded, supportive, flexible and patient. I am certified in Hypnotherapy, Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (a cutting-edge research-based treatment for PTSD) and am an Anxiety Treatment Specialist. I am also trained in Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT).

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work with each client to define their goals for therapy and determine the best approach for them. I often use RRT, RTM, mindfulness training, meditation, visualization, and hypnotherapy combined with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other cognitive training to help clients let go of the effects of past traumatic experiences, learn to shift emotional states and transform the way they think, feel and act.

What you can expect from our first session

I teach clients skills and techniques they can use on their own to make their everyday life better. Clients walk away from sessions feeling supported and empowered, and better able to make real changes in their lives.
