I’m Chela, an LCSW & LAC in Colorado. I diagnose & treat mental, behavioral, & emotional disorders.

Interests: addiction, ADHD, anger, antisocial behavior, anxiety, bipolar, borderline personality, chronic health, complex PTSD, complicated grief, dementia, depression, eating disorders, identity, LGBTQIA+, psychosis/schizophrenia, suicide, somatic symptoms, spirituality/faith, & stress.

Treatment: Attachment-Based, CAMS, Complicated Grief, DBT, EFT, MI, IFS, SFBT, Somatic Experiencing, & trauma-focused CBT.

I often use a trauma-informed integrative approach. I encourage you to bring all parts of your personality & emotions into our work. I aim to help you keep the focus on yourself, forge an authentic connection with me, & approach your experiences with curiosity rather than judgment. I believe in taking responsibility for our behaviors & using sessions to identify patterns that can guide your growth. It's important to continue this work outside of our sessions & view challenges as opportunities.

I primarily serve adults & older adults as a telehealth therapist. I believe that a holistic approach is essential for lasting recovery. We will develop a treatment plan that guides us through your healing process. Positive changes become evident when you engage fully & make decisions that improve your life experiences. I offer telehealth sessions Tuesday-Friday.
