Great to meet you!

Hello I'm Chelci. If you are feeling overwhelmed with the world today, fearful of life transitions, or navigating complex relationships, I am here! I am dedicated to delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care and strengthening systems that support individuals and families.

With more than a decade of leadership and clinical experience in trauma and emergency psychiatry, I am dedicated to delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care and strengthening systems that support individuals and families.

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LISW-S) in the State of Ohio and a Certified Case Manager (CCM). I completed my undergraduate studies at Ohio University in Social Work with a focus on Adult Mental Health, and earned my Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University.

My approach to therapy

With extensive experience in crisis intervention, medical and psychiatric settings, and integrated health care, I focus on practical, strengths‐based strategies that honor each person’s resilience. I work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that support stability, emotional wellness, and meaningful progress toward their goals.

My therapy approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, recognizing the impact of past experiences on current functioning and promoting safety, empowerment, and collaboration. I integrate motivational interviewing to support clients’ readiness for change and strengthen their autonomy in the healing process.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming and collaborative conversation focused on understanding your needs, strengths, and goals. I’ll guide you through a thorough yet comfortable assessment, exploring what brings you to therapy and what support feels most meaningful to you. Together, we’ll talk about your history at a pace that feels safe, begin identifying priorities for treatment, and discuss what approaches may be the best fit. You’ll leave the session with a clearer sense of direction, a personalized plan for next steps, and the reassurance that you have a partner in your healing process.
