Great to meet you!

Hey there, my name is Chelsea. I have been holding space with people since as far back as I can remember, and officially as an LPC starting in 2008. After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Texas Lutheran University, I secured my Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio (2006). Walking beside clients in their journeys through anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and grief/loss for the last 15+ years, has been quite an honor. In 2015, I expanded my knowledge and practice to include work with eating disorders.

My approach to therapy

Sessions with me blend professional expertise with real, down-to-earth human connection as my approach. I believe healing happens when you feel truly seen, heard, and safe enough to bring your whole, authentic self into the room (or virtual space)—laughter, tears, and everything in between.

What you can expect from me

The first session has a foundation in meeting you were you are at in your journey. This allows us to build rapport and begin working toward what you would like to get out of therapy. It is less like an impersonal interview and more like a warm, supportive conversation with a purpose.
