Great to meet you!

Sometimes life can feel heavier than you expected, especially when anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties begin affecting the way you see yourself and connect with others, I am a clinical social worker (LCSW) with six years experience supporting adults and older adults through a wide range of mental health challenges. I have supported individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and the unique emotional changes that can come with aging. Therapy can offer you a space to slow down, be heard and make sense of what you are experiencing. Together, we can build on your strengths and develop practical ways to help you feel more grounded, empowered and connected to the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in meeting each person where they are; with a focus on building insight, resilience, and meaningful change. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize connections between your thoughts, emotions and behaviors in the hopes of developing healthier ways of responding. Motivational Interviewing to explore change at your own pace while strengthening your own reasons moving forward. Problem Solving Therapy to break overwhelming concerns into manageable steps and identify practical solutions. Psychodynamic Therapy can help us understand how earlier experiences and relationship patterns may continue to influence the present.

What you can expect from me

Its important to remember you do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy, During our first few sessions, we will take time to understand what brought you here, what has been most difficult, and what you would like to achieve in our sessions. You can expect me to listen without judgment, meet you with an open mind, and create a supportive environment where you can be honest about what you are experiencing.
