Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Chelsea. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience supporting individuals through anxiety, trauma, depression, and major life transitions. Over the last few years, I’ve focused my work on BIPOC women ages 18–45 who are navigating motherhood, identity shifts, emotional burnout, and self-esteem challenges.

Many of my clients are used to being strong for everyone else but feel overwhelmed or disconnected internally. I provide a culturally responsive, compassionate space where you don’t have to perform or carry everything alone. My goal is to help you build self-awareness, emotional regulation skills, and a deeper sense of self-trust and compassion.

My approach to therapy

Seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to being the strong one for everyone else. My approach is relational, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I believe real healing happens when you feel safe enough to be honest — not polished.

In our work together, we’ll build a foundation of trust while also exploring patterns, triggers, and core beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. I integrate evidence-based practices with compassion and directness, supporting you in developing emotional regulation skills, self-awareness, and healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. You can expect both validation and gentle challenge as you grow.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to learn about your experiences, relationships, stressors, and strengths — while also giving you space to share at your own pace.

We’ll begin identifying goals and discussing what support might look like moving forward. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and clear about the direction of our work together.
