Great to meet you!

Hello! Here is my short & sweet elevator pitch....well virtual elevator pitch. I have worked primarily with children & adolescents for 6 years in hospital, outpatient and school settings. I have experience with children in active crisis, emotional distress, trauma, homelessness, foster care & those with various learning disabilities. I use humor to get to know my patients, and you can always count on me to crack a joke about myself to lighten the mood.

My approach to therapy

I always want to make sure that my patients feel empowered & positive after a session. I think it is important that children know that they are valued and life involves a lot of learning. I always take a strength based approach and use their personally identified skills to shape our sessions.

What you can expect from me

My main goal is to help a client feel that they can conquer whatever obstacles or challenges they are facing. We, as individuals, are often our biggest critics. I want to make sure my clients are able to set realistic & obtainable goals so they can feel successful & proud of their accomplishments. Lets be honest, Eleven didn't learn all her skills overnight (any Stranger Things fans??!!)
