My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused therapy. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, process difficult experiences, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll focus on getting to know one another and building a comfortable foundation for our work together. I'll take time to learn about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals for therapy. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, share what brings you to therapy, and discuss what you hope to gain from the process. By the end of the session, we'll begin developing a plan tailored to your needs and priorities so you feel supported moving forward.
