Great to meet you!

I started my journey to the therapy work by getting my Masters in Social Work from Troy University in 2019. I am also currently pursuing my Doctorate in Social Work from Simmons University. I have experience working with a variety of populations. I have practiced in the areas of school social work, intensive outpatient services for addiction recovery, and juvenile justice. I am also committed to uncovering ways to meet people where they are with their trauma and work together to overcome it.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am passionate about creating a nonjudgmental, brave space where clients can “take off their mask” and truly lean into their authentic selves. We will collaborate to identify your goals and make a plan to reach them. Sessions will be tailored to your individual needs and counseling journey.

What you can expect from our first session

As a therapist, I want my clients to take away from each session whatever it is they are needing. This may not always mean that each client is leaving with what they wanted to hear. Therapy is a commitment to yourself to improve because you are struggling with something. That sometimes means that it is uncomfortable, but this discomfort is needed to obtain growth.
