Great to meet you!

I’m devoted to creating a safe environment for my clients and providing them the empathy, psycho-education, solutions, and resources they need to live a more positive, cohesive life. I empower my clients to explore what is painful, misunderstood, and unknown. I believe one cannot reach the heights of their greatness without first exploring the depths of their suffering.

My approach to therapy

I consider my work to be humanistic, relational, and trauma-informed. I have experience counseling individuals, couples, and families who may struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adverse family dynamics, and turbulent life transitions. I'm quite passionate about analyzing not only "generational curses," but also generational blessings across the lifespan. I take pride in decoding lived experience and interpersonal connection through a multicultural lens.

I utilize psychoanalysis, psychodynamic theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) in my work. My practice is informed by the education I've received at New York University Silver School of Social Work, in addition to my training at The Ackerman Institute for the Family.

What you can expect from me

Together we will create a treatment plan that specifies the goals you'd like to achieve over the course of our time together. We will also review demographic information, in addition to anything you feel will be helpful for me to know to best support you.
