Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Chelsey, and I have spent the past 15 years of experience working with adults and children within the local court system. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families during some of the most difficult and vulnerable seasons of their lives. I understand that life can bring moments of stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, grief, major transitions, and uncertainty that feel too heavy to carry alone. My background has taught me the importance of patience, trust, and truly listening to each person’s story. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be heard, understood, and supported as they work through challenges and begin moving toward healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, patient, and grounded in the belief that every person carries a unique story that deserves care and respect. I do not believe therapy should feel rushed or one-size-fits-all. In session, we will work together to understand what you are carrying, identify the challenges or burdens that feel most important, and begin developing tools that support meaningful change. This may include building coping skills for anxiety, depression, stress, or trauma, improving communication, exploring family or relationship dynamics, strengthening emotional regulation, and creating practical steps toward stability. My role is to walk alongside you, offer support and constructive feedback, and help you feel less alone as you navigate what is in front of you.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is to begin building trust and creating a space where you feel safe enough to share at your own pace. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what has been difficult lately, and what kind of support would feel most helpful. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, stress, grief, court-related challenges, or a major life transition, I will listen with patience, compassion, and respect. I may offer reflections or gentle feedback as we begin identifying goals together, but I will not rush your process. Establishing trust takes time, and I understand that your story belongs to you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and more hopeful about the path ahead.
