Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Chelsey, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping people feel more grounded, understood, and in control of their lives. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University and have experience working in intensive outpatient settings with clients facing anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I use a blend of CBT, DBT, and ACT to help you build practical skills while also exploring the deeper patterns that may be holding you back. I aim to create a space that feels both supportive and empowering.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy blends insight-oriented work with practical skill-building. I help clients explore underlying patterns, beliefs, and emotional experiences while also incorporating evidence-based techniques from. I value creating a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe enough to be honest and challenged enough to grow. Together, we work toward meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s bringing you in, your history, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, while also giving you space to share at your own pace. We’ll start identifying goals and I’ll walk you through how I work so you feel comfortable and informed. Most importantly, there’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this is just the beginning.
