Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 15 years of experience helping people navigate life's "weird left turns," from the mental game of competitive sports to the heavy landscape of grief, trauma, or a cancer diagnosis. I'm also a wife and mom who spent over a decade working in the foster care system before transitioning to the medical field and clinical work, so I understand the "everyday chaos" of being human. I've often been told I bring a unique blend of humor and compassion to the room. Whether you're a high-performer, a caregiver facing burnout, or a parents of a "tornado of feelings," I'm here to help you stop playing emotional whack-a-mole and start feeling like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy isn't about fixing someone who is "broken," it's about getting unstuck. We won't just process your experiences so they stop stinging; we dig into the underlying story those events told you and the lies you've started to believe because of it. Using evidenced-based tools like EMDR, DBT, and TF-CBT, we work to rebuild your self-worth and uncover the truth of who you are. My approach is professional yet light and fun; I balance the intensity of deep trauma work with humor, because I believe laughter is a form of healing. This is a space where you can show up exactly as you are, even if that means sweatpants and tears.

What you can expect from me

In our first meeting, you can expect an environment that is warm, grounded, and entirely judgement-free. My primary goal is to "hold space for hope." We will begin exploring your story and identifying the patterns you're carrying, while looking toward the possibilities for growth. You don't need to have it all figured out or wait until things are "on fire" to be here. We'll spend our time getting you regulated and supported, setting a path forward that feels manageable rather than heavy. You're taking a brave first step toward connecting with your resilience, and we might even share a laugh in the process.
