Great to meet you!

I became a Licensed Professional Counselor to make therapy more accessible to diverse populations. My education took place in Texas after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas in San Antonio. I am a native Houstonian, am a dog person, and love the kiddos in my life currently.

My approach to therapy

I am passionate about working with clients who are confronting everyday stressors, adjustment to change, relationship issues, trauma, self-esteem, multicultural concerns, and LGBTQIA+ issues. My therapeutic approach includes using client-centered therapy, existential theory, psychoanalytic theory, distress tolerance, interpersonal dynamics, and mindfulness. I am also skilled in crisis intervention and using artistic mediums in therapeutic settings.

What you can expect from me

Working at your pace, we will ensure therapy is a safe space to address your concerns and realize your goals. I aim to optimize the tools you already have and help you uncover new skills to make life more manageable. As your counselor, I would be honored to walk alongside you to overcome obstacles and help you leave therapy with a more in-depth understanding of your capabilities and resilience.
