Great to meet you!

I’m passionate about helping people from all walks of life feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey. Whether you're navigating trauma, relationship issues, identity exploration, or life transitions, I offer a supportive and affirming space to explore your experiences and move toward meaningful change.

My military background brings a grounded, real-world perspective—especially when supporting Veterans and those coping with trauma or high-stress environments. I also understand how cultural identity and lived experience shape mental health, and I strive to create an inclusive, culturally sensitive environment for BIPOC individuals, couples, and families.

As an ally of the LGBTQ+ community, I am committed to providing a safe and affirming space for all identities and orientations. My practice welcomes and supports clients across the gender and sexuality spectrum.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University. After serving as a Veterans Counselor, I now run a full-time private practice where I integrate evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs.

I grew up speaking both English and Spanish at home, which helps me connect more deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

My focus is on helping individuals, couples, and families reconnect with their authentic selves and thrive on their unique paths. I take an integrative approach, drawing from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and tailor each session to fit the needs and goals of the client.

I understand that healing looks different for everyone—and for some, that may include exploring medication as part of their care. I have experience working with a wide range of clients, including Veterans, and I provide support around issues such as PTSD, ADHD, grief and loss, chronic health conditions, infidelity, life transitions, and other mental health challenges.

Together, we’ll work to navigate these experiences and create a path forward that supports your growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

"Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but through collaboration and building a trusting relationship, we can better understand the challenges you’re facing. I believe in empowering you to take ownership of your healing journey—and that you deserve to be treated with respect by a compassionate, skilled, and authentic therapist. My approach is transparent, supportive, and tailored to your unique needs. With my training and experience, I'm committed to helping you move toward meaningful and lasting progress."
