Great to meet you!

Maybe life feels heavy right now, and you’re tired of feeling stressed, stuck, or on edge. I work with I work with women ages 25 to 55 who are struggling with anxiety, depression, or burnout and want to feel calmer and more like themselves again. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 14 years of experience. I help your body and mind work together to heal, using a solutions-focused approach along with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR.

My approach to therapy

When we start working together, we’ll look at what’s making life hardest for you right now and start there. I believe in meeting you where you are, so we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. First, we’ll use Somatic and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) tools to help you feel calmer and more steady in your body. From there, if it feels supportive, we can go deeper. With Internal Family Systems (IFS), we get curious about the different parts of you, like the part that worries, and learn what they need. With EMDR, we use gentle eye movements or tapping to help painful memories feel less heavy. You’re always part of choosing what we do.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a time for me to get to know a little more about you. We’ll meet by secure video for about 60 minutes, so you can join from anywhere that feels comfortable. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, what feels hardest right now, and what you’d like to feel different. You can share as much or as little as you want. We’ll also talk about your goals and make a simple plan for where to start. It’s okay to feel nervous. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, a little lighter, and clear on what comes next.
