Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm a clinical social worker dual-licensed in NY and MA who specializes in working with children and their families who have experienced loss and trauma. I am a certified adoption-competent therapist and love helping to build and strengthen new and changing families. While I serve children of all ages, I specialize in early childhood (0-5) and trauma and attachment concerns. I would love to come alongside your family in finding healing and strengthening peaceful relationships at home!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize a holistic model of therapy with the goal of empowering caregivers to participate in their child's healing process. Based on your child and family's unique needs, we will use a combination of individual and family therapies, including:

  • Attachment, Regulation, Competence (ARC)
  • Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy (SMART)
  • Child Directed Play Therapy
  • Expressive Arts Therapy
  • Alternative for Families Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT)

I treat all of my clients with cultural humility and intentionally provide services that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. My approach is strengths-based and empowerment focused and prioritizes your family's lived experience. When appropriate, I encourage a wraparound approach to therapy that helps you to build and include a community involved in your healing and support.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal in treatment is that you and your child feel less alone in your experience. We will set goals together that help reduce problematic behaviors and symptoms so that your child and family can thrive, all while strengthening your relationships with each other and your core community. My hope is that clients can feel safe to give open feedback so that we can find solutions together.
