Great to meet you!

Having spent many years involved in alternative culture, I support client's in addressing issues around non traditional partnerships/lifestyles, substance use, trauma histories and major life transitions. I have worked all over the world providing harm reduction services and educating people on ways to live a more balanced and healthy life. I studied art and social work during undergrad before focusing on psychotherapy. I value yoga traditions and movement/dance as a way to integrate trauma.

My approach to therapy

You’re in charge! I come from a client centered trauma informed lens. At times, I might make recommendations but I want to empower you to make decisions in your life and that begins in our sessions. We will create goals together, address feelings, and learn how to manage and regulate reactions to challenging situations. As we get to know each other, I might use humor to challenge your stuck patterns and maladaptive thoughts.

What you can expect from me

I hope to create a space for you to openly share challenges that hold you back. It's important to remember that you are in charge of making changes in your life and that I am just here to support you in living a healthier life.
