Great to meet you!

My name is Chenell Lee, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in supporting children, adults, and families who have experienced trauma and are navigating the challenges of daily life. With 13 years of experience in education and 5 years in mental health, I bring a deep understanding of how trauma affects learning, behavior, relationships, and overall well‐being.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing happens in relationship, so our work together begins with building trust, safety, and a genuine connection. With training in CBT, Trauma‐Informed Care, EMDR, and Child‐Parent Psychotherapy, I draw from evidence‐based approaches to support meaningful, lasting change. My background allows me to meet clients with both clinical insight and practical, real‐world understanding, creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, we’ll take time to get to know each other and explore what has worked well for you in the past, what strengths you already carry, and what concrete supports you may need moving forward. I take a collaborative, compassionate approach — you bring your lived experience, and I bring my clinical training, and together we create a plan that feels realistic and empowering.
