Great to meet you!

I received specialized training in perinatal, infant, and early childhood mental health, utilizing a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and relational lens. I tailor my care to each individual’s unique needs. I work with caregivers to understand how their past trauma or experience is affecting their parenting and relationship with their children. I support pregnant and postpartum individuals suffering from trauma, depression, or anxiety, as well as reducing isolation during the perinatal period. I also serve people of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds, as my training in interpersonal psychotherapy equips me to address issues such as grief/loss, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

As a clinical social worker, I approach therapy with empowerment and caring. While I support individual growth, I also understand how larger societal and cultural factors affect mental health. My past clients often describe me as supportive, open-minded, and accepting. I strive to create a safe and warm therapeutic space for my clients.

What you can expect from me

I start my first session by getting to know you with empathy and warmth. You might have specific goals in mind, or you may be unsure how therapy would work for you. I bring patience to every part of our interaction. I offer listening ears, as I believe in the power of “being with.”I excel at holding space for my clients and meeting them where they are. I encourage you to share, but will never rush you anywhere that you are not ready to go.
