Cheran graduated from UGA with her Masters in Social Work Counseling in 2007, she has worked in the field full time since then. She enjoys working with life transitions, relationships (couples or individuals), trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance use disorder, etc.

Cheran's approach to therapy is warm and holistic, looking at life design and how we can work together to move towards healing, cohesion, and joy.

What you can expect from me

Cheran often gives homework to help us work on sessions at home, she uses a variety of therapies such as: CBT, Mindfulness, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-Based perspectives, etc. She will explain her holistic view of therapy in the first session and look at expectations and goals with the client.
