Hi, I'm Chere Clark, and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State.

Master of Arts, Psychology, Professional Counseling Specialty 2004 Georgia School of Professional Psychology - Argosy University

Master of Science, Education, Adult Education/Training Specialty 1987 University of Southern California

Bachelor of Arts, Psychology 1979 Western Washington University

Professional continuing education: 2004-present. 800+ hours of post-graduate training completed to date.

My focus, the past few years, has been advancing my knowledge and practice of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

I consider myself to be an integrative therapist, which means an individualized, holistic practice that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic approaches, depending on the unique needs of the client.

Subjects of special interest to my practice are the brain and neuroscience; anxiety and depression; grief, loss, and trauma; and emotional eating.

I believe in action-oriented counseling, not just talking about problems or your feelings.
