A bit about my approach to therapy

My focus, the past few years, has been advancing my knowledge and practice of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

I consider myself to be an integrative therapist, which means an individualized, holistic practice that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic approaches, depending on the unique needs of the client.

Subjects of special interest to my practice are the brain and neuroscience; anxiety and depression; grief, loss, and trauma; and emotional eating.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe in action-oriented counseling, not just talking about problems or your feelings.

You and I will work together to help you build the life you want.

From the start, you’ll have the chance to try out new skills, tailored to your unique needs. We will create a doable plan to start moving toward the life you want.

I will listen to you, share what I know works, and provide practice in new tools & skills, so you can move forward and build your most rewarding life.
