Great to meet you!

I'm passionate about sharing the trenches with people battling depression and anxiety related to life transitions and relationships: dating, marriage, parenting, family of origin work, divorce, new starts. My own journey through marriage, kids, and divorce lends me empathy and insight into the unique pains, losses, and gifts of unwanted, unexpected turns. We can navigate life's difficult questions and our most meaningful relationships in a way that promotes a more fulfilled and authentic self.

A bit about my approach to therapy

With warmth, humor, and a lot of compassion, I create a safe place for you to share your story, challenging you to broaden the context of your story to include strengths, inner resources, and maybe some of the patterns running on repeat in your life. Together, and without judgment, we'll explore unmet needs, attachment style, defense mechanisms and deeper motivations.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients have told me they value the insight they gain about themselves and their relationships. They also appreciate the practical tools shared for gaining that insight. They leave sessions with things to think about and clear steps for experimenting with change, or trying something new.
