Hello and welcome!

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has been in the field for 20+ years. The first 12 years of my career were spent working children, adolescents, and families in a mental health agency. During the years I worked at this agency I took on a multitude of roles such as providing individual and family-based therapy, working as a crisis clinician, serving as a care coordinator, as well as serving as a consultant to various local day care centers. In 2018 I decided to shift gears away from the clinical setting and moved towards being a school-based support. I am currently a School Adjustment Counselor in the elementary school setting who provides support to various children in grades k-5 as well as offering a multitude of resources and supports to local parents, caregivers and community providers. Despite my extensive work with children and adolescents, I do have experience working with adults as well.

I primarily focus my work on both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) treatment modalities.

My primary focus in our initial session(s) is getting to know you! I strongly believe in building a rapport and connection first and then delving into the work! I also feel that the client drives the treatment and will move at a pace that is comfortable for you both socially and emotionally
