Cherise Johnson

Hello. My name is Cherise Johnson. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Illinois with over 14 years of experience in the social work field. My experience includes work with a diverse populations of varying age, sex, race, and cultures. I have had the opportunity to work in a multitude of settings, including hospitals, schools, community based agencies, and intensive in-home support.

My therapeutic approach is first and foremost person-centered, allowing those that I work with to have active involvement in their personal growth. I make it obligatory to treat each of my clients with the respect, integrity, compassion, and empathy that they deserve. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Therapy.
