Cherise Watson

Hello there! I am a Miami native with Caribbean roots. I received my Master of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University. I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), a Qualified Supervisor (QS), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), an EMDR trained therapist and hold a Certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. I have vast experience serving diverse populations in various settings. I have served in College Counseling, Outpatient and Trauma centers.

My approach to therapy is person-centered, strength-based, and humanistic. My keen awareness and sensitivity to cultural, relational, and career-related issues have helped me to support and treat many individuals in navigating and overcoming challenges. I also supported individuals with accomplishing personal and professional goals. I enjoy working with clients on a journey of self-discovery, self-awareness and self-actualization.

After partnering with me clients can expect to walk away with a stronger sense of self, a renewed vision of who they are and a clear sense of direction/purpose. I also provide clients with psycho-education and healthy coping strategies/skills to improve their emotional and mental well-being.
