Purpose & Beliefs:

Helping people has always been my hearts desire and I believe I am living my purpose as a therapist. I earned my masters in psychology with a specialization in marriage and family therapy from National University. Since then, I have been dedicated to reducing mental health stigma and advocating awareness, access to care and highlighting evidence based practices.

Served Clients & Treated Concerns

I believe every person regardless of socio economic background deserves access to quality mental health care and the capacity for growth and healing when they feel truly seen, heard and understood. My goal is to create a warm, supportive and collaborative environment where clients can safely explore life challenges at their own pace. I work with adolescents, adults of all ages, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, stress, and difficulties with self esteem.

Faith Perspective & Integration of Principles

For clients who desire, I offer faith based therapy by integrating Christian principles and scripture while honoring each persons values, beliefs and goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe that meaningful change begins with a trusting and compassionate relationship. I strive to create a safe space where clients feel heard and understood by listening deeply, staying curious and partnering with them to explore solutions together. And, because each client is unique, I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet each persons individuals needs, strengths, and goals.

What you can expect from me

First sessions are a chance for us to get to know each other, begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship and discuss what brings you to therapy. We will explore your current concerns and talk about goals and hopes. This is also a great opportunity to ask questions and determine whether we are a good fit.
