Great to meet you!

My name is Dr. Cherlyn Lane, and I have been providing individual, marital, couples, and family therapy for over ten years. I am a warm and supportive therapist who is passionate about inner healing and personal growth. I believe that everyone has the ability and capacity for change, but sometimes they just lack the tools to do so. I challenge my clients to dig a bit deeper to uncover and discover hidden truths.

My approach to therapy

It is important for my clients to know that they are still the experts in their lives. For just a moment in time, my clients allow me the privilege of ‘peeking’ into their lives to help them to better understand themselves and their situation. I like to utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, as I strongly believe that if we change our thought processes, we can change our world. If you so desire, faith and spirituality can also be integrated into our sessions.

What you can expect from me

It is my goal to assist you in feeling empowered to take the next step in navigating your life’s challenges. Life can hit us hard, causing us to feel out of sorts and overwhelmed. Sometimes we can work ourselves out of that negative space, and at other times we need the help of a caring, non-judgmental, skilled therapist. I am that therapist who can help you to discover new aspects of yourself by providing a safe space for you to share your personal stories, thoughts, feelings, hopes, and fears.
