I am Ms. Chernell. I have been a licensed counselor since 2018. I attended University of Montevallo completing my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I focus on trying to help survivors of trauma and individuals living with PTSD gain the quality of life they deserve.
My approach to therapy is to tenderly and respectfully help individuals start an authentic healing journey.
The first session a client can expect me to create an environment where the client can start to establish safety. I typically work on building a relationship of trust and mutual respect, and also do all preliminary information gathering.
