Great to meet you!

When your body hurts and your mind is exhausted from trying to cope, it can feel like your life has become smaller than it used to be. Maybe you’ve had to give up activities you love, pull back from relationships, or spend so much energy managing symptoms that there is little left for yourself. Living with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, or the effects of trauma can be incredibly isolating, especially when you feel like others don’t fully understand what you’re experiencing. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with training in clinical psychology, and I work with adults who are ready to reconnect with themselves, regain confidence, and create a life that feels meaningful again. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, understand the connection between your mind and body, and move toward healing with greater hope and purpose.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when we look at the whole person, not just the symptoms you’re experiencing. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in research-based mind-body approaches that help you understand the patterns influencing your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical experiences. Together, we’ll explore your story, identify what may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical strategies that support meaningful change. We’ll focus on building a healthier relationship with your thoughts and emotions, increasing resilience, reconnecting with what matters most to you, and creating sustainable changes that allow you to live more fully. Therapy is not about ignoring what you’ve been through. It’s about helping you move forward without letting those experiences define you.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step into therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you’ve been carrying these challenges for a long time. Our first session is a chance for me to understand your experience, learn what you’ve been facing, and explore what you hope will be different. We’ll talk about how your challenges have affected your daily life, relationships, work, and sense of well-being, then begin creating a personalized plan that reflects your goals. My hope is that you leave our first meeting feeling genuinely heard, supported, and encouraged about what is possible. If you’re ready to take back more of your life and begin creating lasting change, I invite you to schedule a session through my profile. I would be honored to support you on this journey.
