Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Cheryl, a down to earth licensed therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings. I have a BA in Psychology and an MS in Counseling. I work from an attachment perspective, which means that I like to understand and make connections around how you were raised and how you show up now in your significant relationships. I specialize in helping you work through trauma in order to come out on the other side of it and live a more free and meaningful life.

My approach to therapy

My style is very much centered around you and what your therapeutic goals are; I don't approach the sessions with my own agenda. We share in this human struggle so I am open about sharing parts of my own healing journey as needed in the sessions.

What you can expect from me

I want you to get what you came to therapy for and help you move towards living your life in a more full, connected, mindful way. I check in regularly with you to see how you feel our sessions are progressing and whether I am helping you in the way you need it.
