Great to meet you!

I believe the relationship between therapist and client matters. I bring warmth, compassion, curiosity, and a lot of life and professional experience to our conversations. I’m approachable and down-to-earth, and I want you to feel comfortable being yourself, without judgment or feeling like you have to have everything figured out before we begin.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and centered on what matters most to you. I listen carefully, ask questions, and help you look at situations from different perspectives, recognize strengths you may be overlooking, and identify changes that can make a meaningful difference. I draw from evidence-based approaches while recognizing that no single approach fits every person. Therapy with me is a conversation and a partnership, not a formula. There may be homework or 'practice' between sessions which will move you in the right direction and taking the next step.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know one another and for me to understand what brought you here, what’s important to you, and what you hope will be different. You don’t need to arrive with everything organized or know exactly what you want from therapy. We’ll begin where you are, talk about what would be most helpful, and leave with a clearer sense of where we can go from there.
