She is the Founder and Executive Director of The Tree of Life Birth Counseling & Wellness Center in Dallas, Texas—a sacred space dedicated to holistic healing, mental wellness, and culturally rooted maternal care.

With over two decades of experience, Dr. Edinbyrd’s work bridges the worlds of counseling, midwifery, and traditional healing. She centers her practice on birth justice, trauma-informed care, and community empowerment, providing compassionate support through life’s most profound transitions.

As an educator and visionary, Dr. Edinbyrd developed Tree of Life’s Doula and Midwifery Curriculum, a virtual training program that uplifts sacred birth workers and helps reduce disparities in maternal health.
