Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm a retired Navy veteran and licensed clinical social worker. I've lived a pretty full life- three wonderful daughters, two marriages and divorces, a Navy career, and several other careers along the way. I understand that life can be messy, challenging, and sometimes just plain hard. I specialize in working with military families, terminal illness, and organ transplant issues, and I love creating a space where people an be themselves,, feel heard, and know they're not alone.

My approach to therapy

We explore the positives and negatives of daily life to identify what you, the client, need to live your best life. Sometimes looking back can make the present easier to understand, and sometimes identifying one or two sticking points and different ways to cope can make the road smoother.

What you can expect from me

We will get to know each other a little, and figure out if we are a good match. We may be able to choose something to work on, or we can agree to use the first few sessions to share information and perspective on where you have been and where you want to go.
