Great to meet you!

I am an open, understanding, and honest person. I have over 25 years as a special education teacher, which has enabled me to understand how an individual learns and grows. Within the therapy room, I work to provide a place where my client can openly share and process the challenges they face in their life. I believe we all have an innate understanding of what we need to heal and by listening to our bodies we can find the strength we need to work towards the valued life we want. I have training in Acceptance Commitment and Somatic Therapy and utilize them often in therapy. My multi-modal approach of whole body wellness integrates the senses, emotional regulation, social emotional learning, movement, music, creativity, spirituality/faith, mindfulness, and psycho-education into your treatment. My hope is that I can provide for you the tools you will need to become a stronger, courageous individual as you move forward in your journey.

My approach to therapy

I approach my session from a humanistic perspective, meeting my clients where they are at the present moment without judgment and expectations.

What you can expect from me

Each session I work with my clients to identify ways they can use their strengths and values to help them become more present in the moment.
