Great to meet you!

I am passionate about working with adults striving to make positive changes in their lives, those in early recovery and with adults from dysfunctional families. I specialized in treating eating disorders for 15 years and my clients often have a history of trauma and/or struggle with self-sabotaging behavior. They seek therapy to improve their lives, and to develop positive coping skills for handling difficult emotions and life stressors.

Welcome! And good for you for looking for support to create positive changes in your life! The first steps are difficult, especially when you are experiencing emotional distress.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, blending insight-oriented therapy with more solution-focused therapy. I treat anxiety and trauma with one of the newest mind-body techniques, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

ART retrains your brain and helps reduce emotional dysregulation. Together we will help you reconnect with your resilient self, develop positive coping skills and get you back on the path to living the life of your dreams.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy, review important areas of your history and then decide on the most appropriate ways to support progress towards your goals. Together we will identify new or forgotten coping skills for you to practice between sessions.
