Great to meet you!

As a life-long Christian and a licensed clinical social worker, I take wisdom given to us in the Bible and nestle it into therapy in a way that speaks to the typical challenges people face and crave help for - things like anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, finding joy, creating healthy boundaries, tackling forgiveness, learning to communicate effectively, and working through relationship issues. We are not meant to face challenges on our own. God has given us the Holy Spirit as a guide for our moral compass, and Bible-based therapy can be a sensible, compassionate way to allow the Spirit to produce healthy growth. My goal is to offer a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard, encouraged, and strengthened as you work through life’s burdens.

My approach to therapy

I believe wisdom, comfort, and peace come from bringing life into therapy from a Christ-centered point of view. Sessions may include Bible verses taken in context and then used to explore a myriad of life challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship issues, forgiveness, communication struggles, and healthy boundaries, with the goal of producing a better quality of life. My approach is supportive, faith-based, and focused on helping clients find healing, clarity, and direction while staying grounded in both biblical truth and practical growth.

What you can expect from me

After the initial paperwork is complete, the first therapy session would include getting to know each other and having a healthy discussion about what the client would like to accomplish in therapy. We may talk about concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, anger, relationship issues, communication struggles, or the desire to grow stronger in faith while working through life’s challenges. That way I would know how to plan out future therapy sessions to meet the individual needs of each client. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling more comfortable, supported, and encouraged about the work ahead.
