Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with advanced training in EMDR, DBT-informed therapy, and Gottman Method couples therapy (Levels 1 & 2). I work with individuals and couples who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in reactive patterns, or burdened by anxiety, guilt, and family expectations. Many of my clients are navigating relationship conflict, boundary challenges, or the lingering impact of past experiences that continue to shape how they feel and connect today.

I have a strong interest in working with first-generation and culturally diverse clients, and I strive to provide therapy that is thoughtful, structured, and culturally responsive. I support adults and couples who want to break unhelpful cycles, regulate emotions more effectively, and communicate with greater clarity, while staying true to their values, culture, and sense of self. Therapy is available in both English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is structured, evidence-based, and collaborative. I integrate EMDR to help clients process trauma, anxiety, and distressing experiences, DBT-informed skills to support emotional regulation and coping, and Gottman Method interventions to help couples improve communication, repair conflict, and rebuild emotional connection.

I focus on helping clients understand their emotional patterns, develop practical tools, and make meaningful changes in how they relate to themselves and others. Sessions are active and goal-oriented, while also providing space for reflection, insight, and healing. I tailor treatment to each client’s needs and pace, ensuring therapy feels both supportive and effective.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you, what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re struggling with, and what you’d like to work toward. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your history, current concerns, and goals, while also making sure the space feels safe, respectful, and collaborative.

You can expect a clear and supportive structure, without pressure to share more than you’re ready for. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying areas of focus and next steps, so you leave with a sense of clarity and direction. My goal is for you to feel seen, supported, and confident that therapy can be a helpful and meaningful part of your healing journey.
