Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a former teacher and a mom of two young adult daughters. I work with women of all ages, especially moms, who want to manage stress and anxiety, let go of people-pleasing and perfectionism, and live a life that is happier, more peaceful, and more fulfilling.

I do my best work with women of all ages who are struggling with anxiety or big changes in their lives -- empty nest, divorce, loss, career changes, retiring, etc. I love helping women let go of the expectations of others, say goodbye to old perfectionist and people-pleasing patterns, set meaningful boundaries, and start living a life they love.

As a mom of two daughters, I started to notice in myself, my mom friends, and my clients, how much moms struggle with their own fears, insecurities, and patterns shaped by how they were raised. As a therapist, I find so much joy in helping women break old patterns and amake themselves a priority in their own lives.

My approach to therapy

Therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who truly gets it—someone who listens without judgment but also helps you figure out what's next. I bring my experience as a former teacher and a mom. Venting is important, and I'll hold space for that. But the real work happens in the "so now what?"

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect to have your feelings validated and your concerns fully heard. We will explore what your life is like right now and what's not working in terms of your stress, mental health, and relationships. This allows us to decide together what you hope to accomplish and where we should start.
