Great to meet you!

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 14 years of nursing experience. I have worked in psychiatric care, hospital settings, case management, and telehealth. I understand that reaching out for mental health care can feel uncomfortable, so I try to make the process feel simple, supportive, and judgment free.

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who struggle with ADHD and anxiety. Many of my patients come to me because they feel overwhelmed, distracted, mentally exhausted, or stuck in constant overthinking. Some have trouble finishing tasks, staying organized, managing school or work, or feeling in control of their emotions.

I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing support. I also treat depression, panic symptoms, sleep problems, trauma related symptoms, and mood disorders. I especially enjoy working with students, healthcare workers, and busy adults who are trying to balance a lot at once.

My approach is warm, honest, and practical. I take time to listen, explain treatment options clearly, and work with you to create a plan that makes sense for your life. My goal is to help you feel more focused, less anxious, and more like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, honest, and practical. I take time to listen and understand how your symptoms are affecting your daily life, relationships, school, or work. I explain treatment options clearly and work with you to create a plan that feels realistic and comfortable. I want you to feel heard, supported, and involved in every decision about your care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what has been going on in your life. I will ask about your symptoms, health history, medications, and how things have been affecting you at home, work, school, or in your relationships.

I know it can feel uncomfortable talking to someone new, so I try to create a relaxed and judgment free space where you can be yourself and speak openly. You do not have to have everything figured out before coming in.

We will talk through your concerns, what you hope to feel better about, and which treatment options may work best for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clear about the next steps in your care.
