Great to meet you!

Dr. Chester Wu is double board certified in Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine. After training at Baylor College of Medicine and Stanford University School of Medicine, Dr. Wu established and directed the first sleep medicine program within a psychiatric system in the United States while at the Menninger Clinic. He hopes to have the privilege to provide his experience and expertise to you.

He provides medication management, psychotherapy, and sleep medicine services to adults.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Wu’s treatment philosophy is that trust, compassion, and comprehensiveness are the keys positive outcomes. Starting with a foundation of trust, Dr. Wu seeks to appreciate his patients’ life experiences (both awake and asleep) and work together with his patients to help them attain insight and change.

What you can expect from me

Comprehensiveness means not only listening to your story, but understanding your physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural experiences. Dr. Wu believes it is as important to explore sleep as it is to discuss waking life. Lastly, comprehensiveness entails collaborating, if permitted, with primary care physicians, other professionals, and loved ones to help bolster your treatment.
