Great to meet you!

Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and deeply respectful of each person’s unique healing journey. I believe there is no one “right” way to heal, so I offer multiple pathways—talking, movement, art-making, and body-based practices—to meet you where you are. I pay close attention to both your words and your nervous system, moving at a pace that feels safe while still keeping your goals in view. My intention is that you feel seen, affirmed, and gently challenged in ways that help you grow, so that therapy becomes a supportive space to experiment, feel, and move toward a more connected and meaningful life.

My approach to therapy

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a PhD in Expressive Therapies and I’m also a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist. For over 15 years, I’ve supported women, children, adolescents, older adults, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I specialize in expressive arts and somatic therapies—integrating movement, music, visual art, poetry, drama, and body-based interventions with verbal psychotherapy. My work centers the wisdom of the body and creativity to help people process trauma, manage anxiety and depression, and reconnect with a sense of wholeness, agency, and self-worth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll focus on getting to know you and your story in a peaceful, affirming, and collaborative space. You’ll have time to share what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’ve been navigating, and what you hope will feel different. Together, we’ll clarify your goals and discuss different ways of working—purely verbal, expressive arts, somatic, or a combination—so you can choose what feels most comfortable and effective. By the end of that first meeting, you’ll have a sense of what our work together can look like and some initial next steps toward the changes you want.
