Great to meet you!

I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes you are more than a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. Mental health challenges are part of your story, but they do not define who you are. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing, ask questions, and feel comfortable being yourself. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and hopeful throughout your mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I take the time to understand your unique story, concerns, goals, and the factors that may be affecting your mental health, including physical health, sleep, relationships, life experiences, and culture. I use evidence-based treatment while recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health care. Depending on your needs, treatment may include medication management, therapy, lifestyle changes, and practical strategies to support your overall well-being. I believe you should be an active partner in your care, and I encourage open and honest communication about what is and isn’t working.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming and judgment-free conversation focused on getting to know you as a whole person. We’ll discuss what brought you to care, your current concerns and symptoms, your mental health history, and how your experiences may be affecting your daily life. We’ll also talk about your goals and what you hope to get out of treatment. Together, we’ll explore appropriate treatment options and develop a plan that is tailored to your needs. You don’t need to have everything figured out before your first appointment—you simply need to take the first step.
