Great to meet you!

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, sleep difficulties, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I take a whole-person approach to care and recognize that mental health can be shaped by relationships, culture, physical health, identity, and everyday stressors. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being honest about what you’re experiencing.

My approach to therapy

My approach is solution-oriented, affirming, and collaborative. I combine medication management with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including motivational interviewing, interpersonal therapy, and family-focused techniques when appropriate. Rather than taking a one size fits all approach, I consider your symptoms, goals, lifestyle, relationships, and personal background when developing a treatment plan. We’ll work together to find strategies that feel realistic and meaningful for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to talk openly about what has been going on and what you would like to change. We’ll discuss your mental health history, current symptoms, sleep, stressors, relationships, medical background, and treatment goals. If medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss your options, including potential benefits and side effects. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your care plan and the next steps we’ll take together.
