Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Chidi Njoku, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re facing trauma, stress from family dynamics, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I offer a space where you can feel seen, supported, and understood. My background includes extensive work in behavioral health, addiction recovery, and trauma-informed care, and I’ve led mental health programs serving diverse communities across Southern California.

I’m especially passionate about creating safe spaces for healing, spaces where culture, identity, and lived experience matter. I’ve led support groups focused on racial trauma, developed caregiver programs during the pandemic, and helped many people reconnect with their inner strength. My approach is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and deep listening. If you’re looking for someone who will meet you where you are and walk alongside you at your pace, I’d be honored to be part of your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, respectful, and centered around your unique goals and experiences. I practice feedback informed care, which means I regularly check in with you to make sure our work is helpful and aligned with what you need. Your input guides our direction in terms of what’s working, what’s not, and how we can adjust to support your progress.

I believe that healing happens when you feel heard and empowered. Whether we’re working through trauma, stress, or major life transitions, I’m here to listen, support, and adapt the process based on your feedback. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I’m committed to making it meaningful for you.

What you can expect from me

In each session, you can expect to feel heard, respected, and supported in a space that’s just for you. My goal is that you walk away with more clarity, a deeper understanding of what you’re experiencing, and at least one step, big or small that feels meaningful and manageable. Whether it's a new insight, a shift in perspective, or simply feeling a little less alone, our time together is focused on what matters most to you.

I’ll also invite your feedback along the way so we can keep the work responsive and relevant. Therapy with me is not about judgment or quick fixes, it’s about building something sustainable that helps you move forward with strength and intention.
