Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Chidinma! I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I bring over 14 years of diverse clinical experience, including more than 9 years practicing independently as an advanced practice nurse.

My background spans complex healthcare settings—including the VA Healthcare System, Primary care, Urgent care, and Correctional medicine—where I have proudly delivered comprehensive care across the lifespan.

I firmly believe that physical health and mental well-being are deeply intertwined. By combining my extensive primary care and psychiatric expertise, I provide thorough, comprehensive evaluations for individuals of all ages, ensuring you receive safe, well-rounded care that honors your unique background.

My approach to therapy

My care philosophy centers on holistic wellness, patient empowerment, and evidence-based safety. Because I am dual-trained, I look at the big picture, integrating your physical health, lifestyle factors, and mental wellness into a unified, highly customized care plan. I support individuals navigating a broad spectrum of mental health and wellness challenges.

I do not believe in a rigid, one-size-fits-all framework. Instead, our sessions focus on open communication, clinical education, and true collaboration. I make sure you feel fully informed, heard, and confident when evaluating your treatment options or discussing medication management.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, structured, and judgment-free environment. We will complete a comprehensive initial evaluation, taking an unhurried look at your overall history, current struggles, and personal goals.

You will leave our first meeting with a clear, collaborative roadmap for your care. Whether that includes starting a new treatment regimen, optimizing current therapies, or incorporating supportive lifestyle adjustments, we will establish clear, realistic goals so you feel supported and confident in our path forward from day one.
